Fully Guided Ozark Mtn Black Bear hunt: 24-26 Sept
This is the drawing announcement for our first hunt of the fall, archery black bear hunt. Fully guided, includes archery equipment, campfire-cooked meals, and camping gear. This fully guided hunt is free, but you must be a military Veteran or 1st responder to apply.
You must be willing and able to hike (3.5 miles into camp) and camp in the backcountry (tent camping, etc.) We will not cover the cost of a hunting license ($350 for nonresidents).
To enter the drawing, like and share our FB page and reply “2021 SMPG Bear Hunt” in the comments to the “Fully Guided Ozark Mtn Black Bear hunt” https://www.facebook.com/SMFpackgoats. We will draw 2 hunters on Aug 18th.
Note: If you are selected we ask for a $100 deposit that we will return to you upon attending the hunt. If you have to back out and we have enough time to find a replacement, we will return the $100. If not we will consider it a donation to our nonprofit. Please be certain you can attend this hunt before you put your name in the drawing.
Note*: Although we will be targeting black bears, there will be good opportunities for whitetail and even incidental feral hogs on this hunt.
